Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Wishing you all a very happy St. Patrick’s Day! Some Society members and friends were in the parade on Saturday. Member, Eve Brooks always captures such moments for one and all to see. We appreciate having lasting memories! The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Pipe & Drum Corps (top right); Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes & Drums (bottom right).

While St. Patrick’s Day celebrates the rich traditions of Ireland, it also reminds us of the deep cultural connections shared across the Celtic world. May the day bring you good company, good cheer, and perhaps a tune or two. Erin Go Braugh!

Every year starting well over a decade ago, I started taking a selfie with Hibernian member Bob Harper before every parade. Slàinte to our Irish cousins, and to the friendships and traditions that continue to bring our communities together.
